Master New Home Sales for careers in Houston, TX?

I like to work as a consultant for new home sales in Houston. A real estate license not necessary in Texas to work for a homebuilder, however I have two of the five required courses completed real estate. I wonder whether it might be easier for me to work as a real estate agent (maybe part time?) first to gain experience, to try to get a job with a builder, given the current state of the market. How often these builders hire people without experience? I need answers of individuals in the business, please. Thank you!

Many builders prefer that you do not work as an independent real estate agent before the sale of new homes. The builders have been very closely approach detailed they want to continue. Agents who have worked on their own are often resistant to that approach unregulated (although it works very well for the builders). So go and apply to developers. Given that very few are hired, the offer of this subsector for anyone who calls in sick or goes on vacation. Once they see that work, you are hired full time.
